Will my hair still grow through my tattoo area?
Yes, the skin will remain the same as before. However, if you have dark or long body hair it might obscure the tattoo area if the tattoo is very small.
Is getting a tattoo safe?
We use the same equipment a hospital uses to sterilize our equipment. Additionally, we also use disposable setups for each tattoo. Please visit your tattoo artist to insure the instruments are individually wrapped and sterilized before beginning any tattoo.
Can I bring in my own personalized design?
Absolutely, but we will have to convert it into a tattoo design. However, please keep in mind that some styles do not work well as a tattoo. Rest assured we will use our years of experience to help you with any design to ensure the best results.
How much would my tattoo cost?
Unfortunately, it’s impossible to quote a price without first seeing a design. Any custom tattooing costs according to the time involved. The larger, complex tattoos can run thousands of dollars, while smaller, simpler cost less.
How old must I be to get a tattoo?
You must be at-least 18 years of age and have a valid picture ID issued by a government or state. Mavericks Tattoos will not tattoo without written parental permission.

Is a tattoo permanent?
Yes! I repeat.. Yes! However all tattoos will age with time. Sun exposure, improper healing, and overall poor health will affect the tattoos final results. How well it ages is dependent upon size and location. Older tattoos can be recolored and redone. Unwanted tattoos have the option to be covered with a new tattoo or removed (laser).
What can I expect about my healing?
Everyone heals differently. A brand new tattoo takes about three (3) weeks to look as if it was always there. Tattoos heal like a scratch or scrape. Therefore you can expect goo results in approximately two (2)weeks.
How do the colors turn out?
Your skin acts as a filter over the tattoo area. Darker tone skins will mute or obscure the color while light skin will allow colors to be more vivid.
Can I have a allergic reaction to the colors?
It is very possible to be allergic to most anything. Even though allergies to the colors is very rare, you would consult your doctor for the proper answers.
Can I get a tattoo if I am pregnant?
Pregnant women or anyone with a serious chronic condition should get the advice of a doctor before getting any tattoo.
Where is the least or most painful spot to get a tattoo?
Most would agree the upper arm. It is important to get your tattoo where you want as opposed to getting it where it might hurt less. If you never had a tattoo you would not know the difference? The most important thing to remember is your tattoo should be a fun experience.
